TobakkoNacht - The Antismoking Endgame By Michael J. McFadden

TobakkoNacht - The Antismoking Endgame
By Michael J. McFadden

Smokers and smoking are under a level of attack unprecedented in modern society. All the tools of sophisticated propaganda and social engineering have been focused on eradicating what is seen as an unhealthy, undesirable, and politically incorrect behavior. In its 520 pages, TobakkoNacht - The Antismoking Endgame critically examines the engineered social division, job and medical discriminations, and a deliberate distortion of scientific research that hasn't been seen since Lysenko's era.

TobakkoNacht adheres to high academic standards in its content, presentation and detailed citations, but is also written in a style that ensures its wider readability. It is ideal for smokers under attack, nonsmokers whose lives are impacted by exaggerated fears, for students seeking to understand the manipulation of human conflict, and for anyone distressed by the social division of the antismoking "Endgame" (a title echoed by September 2013's UN Conference, "The Endgame for Tobacco"). Hard scientific analysis and political and psychological observations of antismoking tactics are interspersed with advice for activists, a look to the future in fighting increasingly powerful nanny states, and even a dystopian tale written in the late 1990s that portrays a world disturbingly close to the one we're currently experiencing.

Reviews of Mr. McFadden's previous work

Alan Caruba, CNS News: "Everyone pays a price for the loss of any freedom ... You may or may not be a smoker, but you should have a very real concern about the anti-smoking politicians and others who continue to trample on freedom."

James Siepmann, Editor, Journal of Theoretics: "scientifically correct and logical, but also fun to read."

John Brignell, UK Numberwatch: "the most astonishing political saga since the rise of Adolph Hitler... The author tells the story well and comprehensively."

Dr. Jerome Arnett, Journal of American Physicians and Surgeons: "Exposing their lies and manipulation can destroy the success of those who would dominate us"

Reactions from advance readers of TobakkoNacht

Frank Davis, Banging On About The Smoking Ban: "I read the author's preface, and in my view for that alone the book is worth every penny I paid for it."

Sandy Szwarc, CEI and Junkfood Science: "powerful writing! ... wonderful quotable quotes ... the parallels between todays healthism and that of 1930s Germany are horrifyingly similar."

Samantha Phillipe, Citizens Freedom Alliance: "Amazing and timely. A must read for every smoker and for every legislator voting on tobacco issues today!"

About the Author

Michael J. McFadden's Wharton School background in Peace Science, with its emphasis on propaganda analysis, statistical rigor, and scientific modeling, lends itself well to his current efforts to combat the social divisiveness of antismoking campaigns and their emphasis on social engineering. A self-described activist, Mr. McFadden nonetheless takes special care in all his writings to present his arguments with honesty and accuracy as he criticizes his opposition for being lacking in both characteristics. And with no financial connections to corporate interests on either side of the smoking controversy his freedom to examine the facts openly is refreshing and will be appreciated by readers.
